Photo by Peter Elton When we emptied out my grandmother's house for her move, I inherited a number of obscure kitchen objects: her oatcake flipper, her ancient cast-iron Yorkshire pudding molds, and her bright red enamel paella pot. I can't imagine Christmas without it, and yet I've never met another person who knows of its existence. My family has made the Tom and Jerry to mark the season for as long as I can remember. What I cherished most, however, was an old mimeographed copy of the family recipe for the Tom and Jerry, a hot beverage served in the days around Christmas and New Year's. Tom and jerry archive of our own.

Honestly, it seems way too dumbed down to even be worthwhile. On my sound gigs I rather get a simple email than that oversimplified pic. Example: 5 piece band: 2 guitar, drums, bass, keys of which 2 are vocalists (rhythm guitarist and keys) On my bands stage plot, which should only take about 20 minutes I offer: mic vs DI amp configs drum kit size multi keyboard feed person placement mic placement mix advisement monitor requests basic band info, etc. It took me about 30 minutes and hasn't needed an update in over a year.
