Good day to all. I need assistance in regards to a problem on Lenovo x64 laptop with Windows 7 installed. I have installed the Hyperterminal program, but getting this message when trying set it up 'Unable to open COM1. 
Please check your port settings'. I have disabled and even uninstalled the driver without any success. Reason: I have trying to install software on a EPEC module via a serial port as this is still a old machine using this module.
